This is the terrifying moment a driver open fires after chasing a woman for 'cutting him up'.
Surveillance footage captured the chilling violence in Washington DC as cars drive away in a desperate bit to avoid the bullets.
A man can be seen walking up to the driver's side of a silver sedan stopped in front of him at rush hour last Wednesday.
As the gunman approaches the vehicle speeds off and he repeatedly shoots after her. He then turns and points his weapon at the traffic behind him.
During the surveillance camera footage, it looks as if the victim may have cut the suspect off before the shooting incident, but it's not clear.
After the shocking gunfire, the unidentified man, who was wearing light blue jeans and a dark top, makes his escape.

His victim was found by authorities nearby having driven around the corner to escape imminent danger.
She had been hit by gunfire during the violent incident, though it is not clear if she was the driver of the sedan.
Police say the woman was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
They are offering a reward of $10,000 (£7500) for anyone with information that leads to the identity of the suspect.
Footage of the incident was released on YouTube by Washington DC police in a bid to catch the gunman.
A spokesman for the force said: "The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public's assistance in identifying a person and vehicle of interest in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) incident.
"The subject was captured by a nearby surveillance camera.
"Anyone who can identify this individual or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE to 50411."
