Terrifying moment Edinburgh local 'parachutes' off 210ft high-rise flats in Muirhouse

A video has emerged of a fearless local appearing to 'parachute' off a high-rise building in Muirhouse.

The video shows a man jumping off Martello Court, which is one of the tallest buildings in the capital.

In the video - which contains extremely strong language and which you can view below, the thrill-seeker is heard saying: "right boys have a good one" before throwing himself off the 210ft sky scraper with a parachute.

The high-rise in Pennywell Gardens in Muirhouse, in the north-west of the city, is 23 floors high.

In the shocking video, the man appears to crash into some trees before landing on the ground.

Again, please be warned that this clip contains strong language:

The video was retweeted by local Tory Cllr Mark Brown who wrote: "Parachuting off Muirhouse’s 23 story Martello Court is probably not something I’d fancy doing.

"That’s pure radge!."
