Terrifying gang robberies at Ayrshire homes as thugs steal cash and jewellery

Police have launched a manhunt after a gang carried out robberies at two Ayrshire homes yesterday afternoon.

The hooded group of four men burst into two addresses on Fenwickland Avenue at around 2.40pm and demanded property.

The gang fled the area with a two-figure sum of cash and jewellery.

The suspects are all described as wearing dark–coloured clothing. They all wore their hoods up and had their faces covered.

Detective constable Stuart McCulloch, from Ayr Police Station said: “We’re appealing to anyone who was in the Fenwickland Avenue area around 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon who witnessed anything suspicious to please come forward.

“If you have any information on this robbery, contact 101, quoting incident 1842 of 19 March. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
