This is the terrifying moment a car flips across a roundabout in a in Dundee .
The horror footage which was shared on social media captures the moment a silver Vauxhall Astra careers through the A90 roundabout on Forfar Road, neat Emmock Park, in Dundee on Monday afternoon.
The car can be seen on the road before flipping several times and leaning against a nearby industrial unit.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene after the alarm was raised at around 3pm.
The driver, a 42-year-old man, exited the vehicle himself.
Paramedics used a trauma kit to treat him at the scene.
He was rushed to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
Motorists were caught up in the aftermath of the horror crash, as debris was spilled across the busy road till around 3.30pm.
A spokeswoman from Police Scotland told the Record: "Police were called at around 3.05pm to the A90 near Emmock Park in Dundee following a crash where a silver Vauxhall Astra went through a roundabout.
"Emergency services attended.
"A 42-year-old male driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"The debris was cleared from the road by 3.30pm.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokeswoman told the Record: "Fire crews received at call at 3.05pm to attend a car that left the roadway on the A90 roundabout and was brought to rest against a nearby industrial unit.
"Fire crews administered first aid to the passenger.
"Trauma kit was used on the scene to treat the passenger."
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson told the Record: "We received a call at 3.44pm hours on Monday, October 21 to attend a road traffic collision on the A90 roundabout near Emmock Park.
"Two ambulances were dispatched and a male patient in his sixties was taken to Ninewells Hospital.
"It is believed his injuries are non-life threatening.
