This is the terrifying moment a gang of men charged up to a car at a junction and smashed it up with metal bars.
The incident happened on Manchester Road in Chadderton last Wednesday (September 22).
Footage of the attack was captured by an onlooker and shared with the Manchester Evening News by the driver of the car which was targeted, who wishes to remain anonymous.
It appears to show a gang of at least five men running towards the car at it waited at a junction.

The men then appear to kick at the car's windows and start to smash them with metal bars.
When confronted by the occupants of the car, they then appear to flee the scene.
Police confirmed they were called to reports of an assault on Manchester Road.
They said they have since established that a group of men wielding metal bars attacked a car and smashed the windows of the vehicle.
No-one sustained serious injuries in the attack, they added, and enquiries are ongoing.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police received a report on 22 September of an assault that had occurred on Manchester Road, Chadderton.
"Enquiries have established a group of males, wielding metal bars, had started to hit a vehicle and smashed windows of the car.
"Thankfully no serious injuries were sustained.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
