Terrifying footage from inside a plane rocked by high winds near Gibraltar has emerged showing the fuselage listing heavily from side to side.
In one video the plane's wing can be seen lurching violently as the jet was swung from side to side in the sky near the Spanish coast.
The clip, shared by Sky News, shows the camera switch from showing the bright blue sea to the clear sky as the plane leans from side to side.
A loud rumble of wind can be heard around the plane, an Airbus A320 that can hold more than 180 people.
In another video posted on YouTube screams can be heard from some passengers while others laugh nervously they discuss what is happening.
The incident occurred on an 8.30am flight on Monday from Heathrow to Gibraltar that diverted to Malaga as a precaution.
Film of the incident taken from the ground was shared previously.
One man who filmed the incident, who preferred not to give his name, said: "Being where we are we see a lot of the landings, but never one as rough as that. Glad that I wasn't on it!"
A British Airways spokesman said: "The flight has landed safely and passengers have left the aircraft normally.
"Due to strong winds in the Gibraltar area, our pilots decided to land in Malaga as a precaution.
"The safety of our customers and crew is always our number one priority.”
