Terrified Katie Price called ambulance after Harvey's temperature shot up

A terrified Katie Price called an ambulance after her son Harvey's temperature shot up.

The former glamour model's eldest child, who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome and a number of other disabilities, was rushed to hospital on Monday after he fell ill at his sister Princess's 13th birthday party.

His mum, 42, recognised he had symptoms that needed urgent medical attention and called 999.

Harvey, 18, was kept in hospital under observation for a few hours while doctors ran tests but was allowed home the same day.

A representative for Katie told The Sun: "Harvey was kept under observation and then discharged last night.

"He was home in time to enjoy a slice of Princess's birthday cake. He picked up a bug, which led to an elevated temperature and the ambulance was called as a precaution.

"Katie is very glad he's back at home."

He was pictured being wheeled out of Katie's Surrey home on a stretcher by face-mask wearing paramedics.

"Katie recognised the signs and knew when to call an ambulance. He's expected to be discharged later today."

Prader-Willi syndrome is a rare genetic condition which can cause weight gain and behavioural problems.

Harvey is also partially blind and on the autistic spectrum.

His father is Katie's ex partner, footballer Dwight Yorke, who hasn't been involved in his life.
