Terrified Holly Willoughby squeals as Phillip Schofield teases her with creepy doll

Holly Willoughby was left squealing on Monday's This Morning after Phillip Schofield teased her with a creepy-looking doll.

The mum-of-three did not look impressed when her co-host introduced the scary looking object as Holly.

With a sly grin on his face, 59-year-old Phillip said: "We’ve done some extensive research and found…" before a panicked Holly interjected and asked: "What are you about to pull out?!"

Retrieving the doll from behind a cushion, Phillip said: "This is Holly," to which the blonde star replied: "No it’s not!"

"I’m calling it Holly," Phillip then said, as Holly pleaded with him: "Well can you not call it Holly!"

Father-of-two Phillip continued: "This has been part of this building for many years and is allegedly rabid with spirits and ghosts and I thought I’d give her to you..."

"And you thought you’d bring this why?" Holly asked, before stating: "I don’t want her, I definitely don’t want her!"

As Phillip placed the creepy doll on the sofa closer to his co-host, Holly said: "I think Holly and I need to socially distance from one another, I think she’s too close."

Phillip told Holly that the creepy doll was 'rabid with spirits and ghosts' (ITV)

Phillip then teased: "Maybe the fact you could be with her and spend some time with her might exercise those spirits and make her feel a little bit better about herself."

Holly was having none of it though and stayed well away from the doll as she and Phillip interviewed a couple in America who are looking to give haunted dolls looking a new home.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
