He got a real shocked when a 5cm 'demon' wasp got into his room, the DailyStar reports.

The man, who shared the terrifying wake up call on Reddit, captioned the post: "What kind of 5cm long demon wasp is this that woke me up at 5:30am? And does it want me dead?"

Many eagle-eyed viewers were quick to point out that the insect the man had encountered at the crack of dawn was most likely a hornet, but that still did little to dispel the lad's fears.
