Terrified Ant McPartlin notices problem backstage with dangerous BGT fire act

Ant McPartlin is left incredibly worried on Britain's Got Talent this evening when he notices a major problem backstage with a dangerous fire magic act.

Tonight, Kevin Quantum, from Edinburgh, combines science with magic to create a thrilling spectacle.

Kevin brings a supersized version of a harmonic pendulum with him on stage, complete with canon balls - but that isn't enough.

The physicist also sets fire to the canon balls and plans to walk through the swinging balls while blindfolded.

As the stunt began, Ant and Dec immediately notice that something is wrong.

Ant turns to the camera and questions: "That's not right, is it? Is it?"

Kevin waits and Ant continues to ask those around him about whether it's right while medics stand nearby.

However, the judges are unaware of the drama backstage as Alesha Dixon asks: "Is he going to run?"

David winces as Kevin walks forward in his blind fold, among the swinging fireballs.

He manages to walk through unscathed, breathing a sigh of relief as he receives a standing ovation.

However, he shocks the judges as he admits: "I don't know if you saw at the start, it didn't work. The things went off at the wrong time."

Simon Cowell looks stunned, responding: "No!"

Will the judges put him through to the next round?
