Terrell Edmunds explains liking Antonio Brown’s tweet

Earlier in the week, Pittsburgh Steelers safety Terrell Edmunds came under some fire for a slip up on social media. To summarize, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger came out in an interview this week and apologized for his part of the breakup between the Steeler and wide receiver Antonio Brown.

To this apology, Brown responded with a tweet that simply said: “two faced.” This move brought volumes of scrutiny down on Brown by the other members of Twitter.

Brown then came out after practice this week and said he meant nothing by the like and the Brown was still his guy. While personally, I write this off as a guy who probably doesn’t have the sense to understand when to like a tweet and when not to and probably clicks that little heart rather indiscriminately. But no one should be shocked if he takes a ton of vitriol for this.

Considering the purge of drama the team has made this offseason, every move these guys make will go under the microscope. Hopefully, a veteran pulled him aside and explained how he needs to deal with situations like this going forward.
