Terminator Dark Fate end credits scene: Should you stay post-credits?

They’ll always be back.

The Terminator franchise continues in earnest with its latest sequel Dark Fate, which continues the series from the end of the second film, T2 Judgement Day.

The latest film sees a dangerous new weapon (Gabriel Luna) sent from the future to kill Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), prompting humanity to send back an enhanced human named Grace (Mackenzie Davis) to protect her.

But that’s not all. Also fighting in Dani’s corner is an embittered but battle-ready Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) and an old Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) whose relationship with Connor is intense, to say the least.

But when the credits start rolling on the film, should you stick around?

Well, it turns out there's a reason for what you'll find.

Terminator Dark Fate: Is there an end credits scene?

Unlike many blockbuster movies these days, there is no end credits scene for Terminator: Dark Fate.

The final scene before the credits roll is the last piece of plot to stay for.

Unless, of course, you want to stick around in tribute for everyone who worked on the film.

But why no extra scene?

According to director Tim Miller, there’s a reason why there wasn’t an extra scene.

Speaking to Fandango about end credits scenes, Miller said: " I love it, but I think it’s a uniquely Marvel thing. So, no."

So, he certainly liked doing them for Deadpool but don't expect him to do these scenes outside of Marvel movies!

Terminator: Dark Fate is in UK cinemas now.
