Terminally ill Scots mum-of-six marries fiancee in sweet wedding after docs say she has 'weeks to live'

A terminally ill Scots mum was able to fulfill one of her biggest wishes as she walked down the aisle to marry her fiancee.

Holly Scott, from Leith in Edinburgh, has small blue cell sarcoma - a rare form of sarcoma - that has spread through her body.

The heartbroken 34-year-old was told by doctors on August 10 that she had less than a month to live, reports Edinburgh Live.

But the determined mum decided to plan her dream wedding to partner Niccolas Scott, 32, with the help of local charity Wedding Wish Makers.

Holly looked stunning as she wore her white lace wedding dress that showed off her tattoos.

The beautiful bride had bright pink hair, and both she and Niccolas wore matching green Nike trainers to mark the special occasion.

Wedding Wish Makers worked with businesses in the capital who had offered up their services from florists to hairdressers to help the big day come together.

The couple had originally planned to have a garden wedding but Scottish weather forced them to move the ceremony to Duncan Place before heading back outside for the reception.

Holly's loved ones have rallied round to support her and help look after her six children - Eli, 17, Poppy 14, twins Daisy and Pippa, ten, and her youngest twins Edward and Primrose, two.

After an unsuccessful third round of chemotherapy, Holly has been receiving radiotherapy to ease the pain of the cancer.

She is due to receive one last round of chemotherapy, which she hopes might let her live an extra month.

Her aunt Christine Langridge set up a fundraiser last month to help with funeral costs and support Holly's family after she's gone.

The GoFundMe page had a target of £10,000 but has now raised £17,335 from 641 well wishers.
