Terminal V announce huge Halloween rave for 2021 with thousands set to attend

Terminal V have excited techno-lovers with the announcement of a 2021 event.

The indoor festival has had to be cancelled on multiple occasions since the start of the pandemic, but has now released new dates they hope will go ahead.

In a post on their Instagram page, organisers said the weekend will be "two years in the making" after tough coronavirus restrictions stopped them from running as usual.

The music event will span over two days on October 30-31, and will see thousands of ticket holders head to the Royal Highland Centre to see a range of different DJs.

With the full line-up to be announced next week, organisers appear confident that the Halloween festival will go ahead as planned, despite the ongoing pandemic.

It comes as Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated that England could get rid of all coronavirus restrictions by June 21, with even masks and social distancing no longer required.

This would mean events such as concerts and large festivals would be able to start up again.

However, last week Nicola Sturgeon set out a plan for Scotland that only extended to April 26, where she hopes sites such as shops, hairdressers and restaurants may be able to open again.

Defending her decision to offer a different plan to the PM, Sturgeon said that her government must be "driven by data not dates" to safely move out of the pandemic.
