Terence Crawford vs Amir Khan: What time is the fight? Everything you need to know

British boxing fans will be hoping Amir Khan's big comeback will go better than Anthony Crolla's bout against Vasyl Lomachenko in Los Angeles last week.

Amir Khan spent nearly two years away from the ring before making his comeback around a year ago but this match-up against American Crawford in New York will be a huge challenger for the 32-year-old from Bolton.

Terence Crawford, 31, is the current WBO weltwerweight champion and considered one of the most dangerous pound-for-pound boxers currently around.

Crawford has the ability to switch between an orthodox stance and southpaw, almost insantly. Crawford is still undefeated in his 34 fights and has won 25 of them by KO.

What they said:

Crawford: "This is a big fight. Amir Khan never lost in the welterweight division. He knows what he is doing in the ring. He boxes really good. He is really crafty. He is a veteran. His is going to be a tough fight."

Khan: "I know that I can't make any mistakes out there because then I'll be in trouble." He also said "I’m not going to go in there thinking I’m the bigger fighter, my skills will win me this fight, not my size or my power. My IQ will win this one," he told BT Sport.
