In the second set of his match against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Tuesday in Stuttgart, Benoit Paire lost control of his racket while serving and was left with no way to hit a return. Instead of letting the ball drop, Paire kicked it back over the net to Tsonga – sparking an amazing soccer tennis rally between the two players.
Paire eventually attempted an acrobatic volley for a winner – but knocked the ball down on his own side and took a nasty fall on the court for his trouble.
