Tennessee Titans’ Week 6 Player of the Game: Derrick Henry

Running back Derrick Henry once again starred in a Tennessee Titans win, putting the team on his back en route to a 34-31 victory over the Buffalo Bills on “Monday Night Football.”

Henry carried the ball 20 times, totaled 143 yards and found pay dirt three times in what was his latest impressive performance. He also added two catches for 13 yards.

Henry’s biggest play of the night came in the second quarter, when he found a hole and blew through it for a 76-yard touchdown run that showcased his breakaway speed.

It was a much-needed spark for a Titans offense that was struggling mightily up until that point.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Henry hit a top speed of 21.8 miles per hour during his long touchdown run, which is the fastest speed any ball carrier has reached in the NFL this season.

Bear in mind, he’s 6-foot-3 and 247 pounds. The man isn’t human.

The King now has five 100-yard games through the first six weeks of the season and has opened up his rushing yards lead even more. If he wasn’t already, Henry should be squarely in the MVP conversation.

Henry and the Titans will look to keep the good times rolling in Week 7 when they host the Kansas City Chiefs at Nissan Stadium.
