Tennessee Titans take OL, TE in Draft Wire’s 2021 NFL mock draft

The Tennessee Titans may have just recently finished making their 2020 NFL Draft picks, but it’s never too early to start looking ahead to next year.

The Titans addressed needs at offensive tackle and cornerback in the first two rounds of the event this year, and at least one of those is expected to remain the same in 2021, according to Luke Easterling of Draft Wire.

In the first round with the No. 17 overall pick, he had the team selecting Ohio State offensive lineman Wyatt Davis.

Over his college career with the Buckeyes so far, Davis has appeared in 20 games and earned First-team All-American honors from the Associated Press, CBS Sports and The Sporting News.

He was also a Second-Team All-America choice by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, American Football Coaches Association of America and Football Writers Association of America, as well as First-team All-Big Ten (coaches and media).

The Titans took Penn State tight end Pat Freiermuth with the No. 49 overall pick in Easterling’s mock.

Last season, Freiermuth recorded 43 receptions for 507 yards and seven touchdowns. Over two seasons with the Nittany Lions, he’s recorded 69 catches for 875 yards and 15 touchdowns.

It will be interesting to see how much these projections align with reality when we get to April next year.
