Tennessee Titans make donation to Nashville COVID-19 Response Fund

The Tennessee Titans are doing their part to help in the response and recovery of the coronavirus outbreak in the state.

According to the team’s official Twitter, the Titans will contribute $50,000 to the United Way of Greater Nashville Response Fund in order to lend a hand in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Per the United Way of Great Nashville’s official site, the fund is setup to help those impacted financially by the coronavirus.

The COVID-19 Response Fund was created to assist individuals and families experiencing financial hardship due to this virus. We know many in our community are struggling with the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are working quickly to provide the most up-to-date information available to help you navigate this process. We will continue to update this site regularly.

Nashville Health reported that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the area has hit 376.

This outbreak couldn’t have come at a worse time for the people of Nashville, who are still in the process of getting back on their feet following the deadly tornadoes that ravaged the area earlier this month.
