Tennessee Titans among Next Gen Stats’ top 5 classes in 2020 NFL Draft

The Tennessee Titans had a solid draft last year, acquiring a breakout player like wide receiver A.J. Brown and emerging star like defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons.

This year, the team hopes to have the same type of success. Tennessee brought in a promising haul with the likes of former LSU cornerback Kristian Fulton and Georgia offensive lineman Isaiah Wilson in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Next Gen Stats seems to believe the Titans made some of the best selections in the event, held in a virtual format for the first time ever this year.

The Titans received a score of 74, tied with the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Only the Denver Broncos (77) and the Indianapolis Colts (75) ranked higher on the list. Scores were based on teams prioritizing athleticism and production.

Here’s a complete look at the Titans’ draft picks:

Round 1, No. 29: Isaiah Wilson, OT, Georgia

Round 2, No. 61: Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU

Round 3, No. 93: Darrynton Evans, RB, Appalachian State

Round 5, No. 174: Larrell Murchison, DT, North Carolina State

Round 7, No. 224: Cole McDonald, QB, Hawaii

Round 7, No. 243: Chris Jackson, DB, Marshall

It will be interesting to see how things shake out for each selection ahead of the upcoming season.
