After addressing their defense with a pair of moves, the Tennessee Titans are making a move to bolster their offensive line depth.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Titans have agreed to terms with former Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Kendall Lamm on a two-year, $8.5 million deal.
Lamm was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans out of Appalachian State back in 2015.
He spent four seasons with the team before moving on to play for the Browns in 2019 and 2020. In all, Lamm has served primarily as a backup during his career, making only 27 starts in 74 career games.
In 2021, Lamm will likely serve as solid depth for the Titans, with an outside chance that he challenges veteran right tackle Dennis Kelly for starting reps.
Tennessee needed every bit of their O-line depth in 2020 after losing left tackle Taylor Lewan for the season after Week 5, and then his replacement, Ty Sambrailo, so clearly this area was a priority.
