Every so often you see professional athletes go out of their way to make the day of a fan, and that’s exactly what Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown did recently.
A Titans fan took to Twitter to share her excitement about the gift she was set to receive for Mother’s Day, which was Brown’s jersey.
The Ole Miss product saw this and offered to Cash App the woman money so that the couple could have matching jerseys.
The woman tweeted out proof that Brown followed up on his offer.
Awesome.
Not that he was looking for it, but teammate and safety Kevin Byard praised the 22-year-old for his generosity, to which Brown chalked up to learning from elder statesman like Byard.
As if we didn’t have enough reasons to love the former second-round pick, Brown showed that he’s much more than just a special football player — he’s also a special human being.
