Tenet: Title, cast and more details of new Christopher Nolan film revealed

New details have emerged about the next film from director Christopher Nolan.

Predictably, the filmmaker’s new project – his first since 2017 thriller Dunkirk – has been shrouded in mystery since its announcement. However, Warner Bros have now revealed the title and further casting details for Nolan’s new espionage drama.

The new film will called Tenet and is an action spy drama. It joins Following, Memento, Insomnia, Inception, Interstellar and Dunkirk on the list of one-worded Nolan film titles.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh, Dimple Kapadia and Michael Caine have been added to a cast that already includes John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki and Robert Pattinson.

The film wil see Nolan reunite with cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema, with scoring duties going to Black Panther Oscar-winner Ludwig Göransson as opposed to his frequent collaborator Hans Zimmer.

Tenet will be released in cinemas in July 2020.
