A Glasgow music platform have launched a crowdfunder to help celebrate their 10th anniversary, which is next year.
Tenement TV was launched in a Glasgow tenement flat in 2011 (funnily enough!) by Nadine Walker, Chae Houston and Jamie Logie.
Now running after almost a decade, Tenement TV has brought fans new music from across the country and sought out the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Sam Fender and Yungblud before anyone else.
The DIY music discovery platform have now launched a special Crowdfunder for fans to pledge support, and keep the festival running into its 10th year.
Speaking about the Crowdfunder launch, TTV Founder Chae Houston said: “The music industry is in crisis.
"Our key aim for this Crowfunder is to generate support from an industry we have worked to support for the last 9 years to help us create a celebration of music for our landmark 10th year.
“Funding is being cut, sponsorship deals are scarce and so we wanted to create this opportunity for people to not only enjoy our ten year parties with us, but also get access to money-can’t-buy experiences that we’re really proud to offer to the music community today.”
Since those first days in the tenement flat, Tenement TV have shot 328 live sessions with artists including the likes of Bastille, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Nina Nesbitt, Tom Walker, Jake Bugg and Gabrielle Aplin.
They have covered 1829 gigs and brought music fans new music from 112 festivals.
They are also responsible for the Tenement Trail music festival, which took place last year at the Barrowlands.
