Aberdeen-based Tendeka has won a contract from Aker BP to help it manage the sand around its oil and gas wells in Norwegian waters.
The engineering company will supply equipment for the oil company’s Valhall, Ula, Ivar Aasen, Alvheim and Skarv fields. The Scottish firm has already provided nearly 50,000 of its devices to businesses around the world.

Aker BP was created in 2016 through the merger of BP’s Norwegian operations with Det norske oljeselskap. The company is listed on the Oslo stock market, with BP holding a 30% stake.
