Ten Year Old Memorable Video Of Mulayam Singh Yadav: How He Toiled Tirelessly To See Akhilesh Yadav As UP Chief Minister

New Delhi: Samajwadi Party founder, patrirach, former Defence Minister and three-time UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away on Monday at the age of 83.

Mulayam Singh Yadav was admitted in the CCU of a private hospital in Gurugram. After the news of his demise, condelence massages started pouring in from all quarters including political circles. Many politicians, party workers, well wishers, supporters and dignitaries are condoling his passing away.

For the 2012 UP assembly elections, when Mulayam Singh Yadav was campaigning for his party across the state, senior journalist Manoj Tibrewal Aakash did a memorable interview of Mulayam Singh Yadav for Doordarshan News.

This interview was taken for DD News in Maharajganj district of UP.

In this interview, Mulayam Singh Yadav had made it clear that this time in 2012, the people of UP are going to form the Samajwadi Party government. He said that wherever he is going, he is getting a lot of support from people. At that time, he also disclosed the reasons for the defeat of the SP in the 2007 assembly elections.

He said that due to the unity of all the opposition parties against the SP in 2007, the Party had to face defeat. 

Mulayam Singh further said in the interview But now in 2012, the SP is going to get a clear majority. His words proved true and Samajwadi Party formed the government in the state with Akhilesh Yadav as Chief Minister.
