Ten teens charged over Qld home invasion

Two teenage boys face attempted murder charges after a man was stabbed in the back during a break-in at his Brisbane home .

The 47-year-old was woken by noises inside his St Lucia home just after 1am on August 9.

He was set upon when he went to investigate. His attackers then fled.

Four people who were identified as suspects were arrested the following day. Police allege they were in a stolen car at the time.

Two 15-year-old boys were later charged with attempted murder and entering a dwelling with intent at night. They have already faced Brisbane Children's Court.

Police also charged seven other teenage boys - aged 14 to 18 - and a 17-year-old girl with burglary, committing an indictable offence and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

They have also appeared in either Brisbane Children's Court or Brisbane Magistrates Court.
