Police find 11yo girl who went missing on Gold Coast

Queensland Police say the child is "safe and well".

Queensland Police say they have found an 11-year-old girl who went missing from Southport on the Gold Coast about two weeks ago.

An amber alert had been issued for the child and the search for her had been extended to Brisbane.

Police say she is "safe and well".
