Temple Grandin to hold free autism talk in Glasgow this month

The subject of a major Hollywood biopic is to hold a talk on autism in Glasgow this month.

Dr Temple Grandin, who was the focus of an Emmy Award-winning biopic based on her life starring Hollywood star Claire Danes, will be in Glasgow as part of a huge autism conference taking place in the city.

Temple will host the event Temple Talks Autism on May 15 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.

Glasgow restaurant raise money for Glasgow Childrens Hospital 

Now considered the face of autism, Temple is also a professor of animal science at Colorado State University, bestselling author and international speaker.

More than 550 teachers and health and social care professionals are expected to attend the conference.

A free seminar for autistic graduates or soon-to-be graduates Let’s Talk Autism and Work will also take place on May 15.
