Tempers flare in tunnel at half-time between Wales and Uruguay during Rugby World Cup match

There was a coming together as the players left the field for half-time during Wales’ Rugby World Cup clash with Uruguay.

After a frustrating first 40, rather than batter away at a stubborn Uruguay defence, Hadleigh Parkes had seen enough and dabbed it into touch, signalling the end of the half.

It prompted a bizarre reaction from Los Teros captain Juan Gaminara, who began jumping around and screaming, clearly a little too fired up after his side had limited Wales to just one try in the opening half.

First he screamed in Aled Davies’ face, then he chased Parkes off the field to shout at him too.

Ross Moriarty gave the Uruguayan a little nudge to move him away from Parkes and he slipped a plastic covering that leads the players down the tunnel.

Jake Ball then appeared on the scene to calm things down but there appeared to be some pushing and shoving as the players disappeared. It seemed to fizzle out before it really began.
