The complaint was filed by a man identified as Satyanarayana, who claims that his son—an NRI software engineer based in London—met the actress in 2018. According to the complaint, the two developed a close relationship over time, during which the actress allegedly promised marriage.

The expenses reportedly include luxury cars, nearly 5 kilograms of gold, and multiple residential properties—all said to have been registered in the actress’s name. The situation reportedly took a turn when the promised marriage did not materialize, prompting the family to approach the authorities.
The complaint also includes allegations against the actress’s sister, who is accused of taking approximately ₹50 lakh from the complainant’s son and failing to return the amount.

Ashu Reddy has responded indirectly to the controversy through social media, warning against the spread of misinformation. In an Instagram post, she stated that any news or false information circulating without her consent would face strict legal action.
