Telles and Greenwood to start - Manchester United line up fans want to see vs Chelsea

Manchester United fans want to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revert back to a 4-3-3 formation for Saturday's meeting against Chelsea.

United enjoyed yet another memorable European night in Paris on Tuesday, as they won their opening Champions League game in Group H 2-1 against Paris Saint-Germain courtesy of more late heroics from Marcus Rashford.

Solskjaer lined up his side in a 3-4-1-2 formation for the match and it worked a treat in containing the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, but supporters would rather see United go back to a more attacking 4-3-3 set up for the visit of Frank Lampard's side.

If they got their way then that would see Luke Shaw dropping out of the side with Alex Telles, who enjoyed a fantastic debut in France as a left wing-back, taking up the left-back role.

Axel Tuanzebe would also keep his place after his fine display at the Parc des Princes. It was his first appearance in 10 months after a series of injuries, but he looked as if he'd never been away with a dominating performance that has surely earned him a permanent spot in the side. Harry Maguire is in the squad after missing the trip to France and fans want him to partner Tuanzebe, taking the place of Victor Lindelof, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka keeping his spot on the right.

Supporters would also like to see the hard-working duo of Fred and Scott McTominay keep their roles in defensive midfield, as they continue to forge an effective partnership. With Bruno Fernandes starting in attacking midfield, it would mean that Paul Pogba would once again be on the bench. Oddly, Fernandes appears in the holding midfield role in the graphic below but we can only put that down to a technical glitch.

United have been without Mason Greenwood for the last two games but he is back in contention to start and fans want him to go straight back into the attack.

With Anthony Martial again unavailable due to suspension supporters want Marcus Rashford to lead the line with Dan James getting the nod over Juan Mata to take up the last spot in the front three.

Fans' Man United XI vs Chelsea: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Maguire, Telles; Fred, McTominay; Fernandes; Greenwood, Rashford, James.
