Tell us your thoughts on reports the travel traffic lights system could be ending

Restrictions on international travel could soon be lifted with the removal of the traffic light system by next month.

The current requirements vary depending on whether a person is arriving from a country that is listed either green, amber, or red, and whether or not they are fully vaccinated.

The traffic light system is currently updated by the government every three weeks, with the next change due to be announced next week.

But there are suggestions that a wider overhaul of the travel rules could take place by October 1.

The government's traffic light system was put in place in May after a ban on international travel due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Take our survey to let us know your thoughts on whether it's the correct decision and if you will be making holiday plans if the restrictions are lifted.
