Tell us if you think Covid 'passports' would work in Bristol

Covid ‘passports’ are being discussed by the government as a way to restart the economy and reduce social distancing.

The idea would consist of an app-based certificate to prove whether an individual has been vaccinated, has received a recent negative test result or has Covid-19 immunity.

It would be put in place at large-scale venues such as sports events, theatres and festivals where social distancing is difficult to manage, and has also been considered to help permit international travel and for visiting pubs or restaurants.

Although no formal decision has been made, the idea has so far proven to be divisive with opposing views breaking out within political parties.

The passports will be trialled at nine different venues across England in mid-April, including the World Snooker Championship, the FA Cup semi-final and Liverpool’s Circus nightclub.

We want to hear whether you think Covid passports would work in the city of Bristol.

Perhaps you think it would help you relax more while dining out at a restaurant or maybe you feel at a disadvantage with the idea if you're lower down the vaccine priority list.
