New Year approaches and millions of people in the UK will be setting resolutions or planning to abstain from drinking.

Dry January, first organised by the charity Alcohol Change UK in 2013, challenges people to abstain from alcohol for the month, and saw 175,000 officially sign up in 2023. YouGov estimated 10% of people in Britain would try Dry January in 2023.

We want to hear from you. If you’ve tried Dry January, how did it go for you? Did you manage to complete the challenge of abstaining for the month? What were the benefits and drawbacks of participating?
