Much needed bus services around the UK are in crisis, according to campaigners who say funding has almost halved since 2010 under government austerity.
A Campaign for Better Transport report says local authorities across England and Wales had taken £182m away from supported bus services over the decade, affecting more than 3,000 bus routes.
If you live in an area where bus services have been cut or are under threat, we’d like to hear about the impact this is having on your life. Do you live in a rural location and rely on a regular service to get to work or go about your personal business, including hospital appointments or interviews? Would you struggle without the service? How has your community, including local businesses, been affected by changes to routes or timetables? Perhaps you live in an area where services have been saved by community action? If so, we’d also like to hear about it.
