Tell us: how are you affected by the reduction in public toilets in the UK?

UK councils stopped maintaining 13% of public toilets between 2010 and 2018, according to BBC figures, while further closures took place over the pandemic.

Three in four people reported that that there are not enough toilets in their area, according to a Royal Society for Public Health survey.

Older people and those with disabilities or health problems may be particularly affected by a lack of public toilets.
