There’s nothing like a seaside stroll and an open ocean view to clear the mind. Whether you’re lucky enough to live nearby or are dreaming from a distance, we want you to tell us about a UK beach you love for a winter walk.
It could be a wander along Brighton seafront to watch the starling murmurations or a bracing hike along a windswept Cornish cove - let us know what it is that makes this place special and why you love it at this time of year.

The best tip of the week, chosen by travel expert Tom Hall, will win a £200 voucher from glamping specialist Canopy & Stars, which has more than 700 places to stay amid nature. The best tips will appear on the Guardian Travel website, and maybe the paper, too.
