Chelsea re-established themselves as a major force in the transfer market last year with Roman Abramovich signing off on big-money deals for Timo Wener, Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell. And the Blues appear intent on flexing their financial muscle once more this summer.
The club will look to improve Thomas Tuchel's squad once more, with a centre-back, central midfield and striker at the top of their wanted list.
Countless players have already been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge including Niklas Sule, Ibrahima Konate, Franck Kessie, and Erling Haaland. None of whom will come cheap.
That won't put off Chelsea, especially given the progress that has been made since the appointment of Thomas Tuchel at the end of January. The Blues are on course to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League, have reached the Champions League quarter-finals, and booked their place in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.
