Telesales giant set to bring jobs boost to East Kilbride Peel Park branch

One of Scotland’s leading telesales companies has created up to 80 jobs in East Kilbride.

AGO Outsourcing already has a substantial staff base at their Peel Park offices, but will expand this in the coming weeks.

And they are inviting those looking for work to get in touch.

With just over 100 employees already, they are looking for at least 60 full and part time staff – but recruitment specialist, Sam Gardner, says she expects this to reach 80.

The company has been at their West Point House home for two years now and opened a second site in Newcastle last September.

Jobs are sales advisor roles and the company are offering full and part time positions, to be filled by the end of July.

That is part of a wider expansion of the company, who will open their third site in Glasgow this August.

When the company came to the area in 2017, it was with the promise of 470 new posts as part of a £40million investment deal.

The company’s major customer is Scottish Power, but they specialise in outsourced telesales.

They started out in order to provide a “world class customer solution” for small-to-medium businesses and blue chip organisations worldwide.

Across its soon to be three sites, the company predominantly operates within automotive, energy and utilities, financial services, public sector, retail and telecommunications sectors.
