TeleData UK achieves record pipeline in first six months

A Manchester data centre operator has reported a record order book in the first half of the year.

TeleData UK revealed it has achieved 77 per cent of its 2019 new business revenue target within six months.

It also increased cloud revenues by 28 per cent in the same period while also cementing several long term colocation contracts with well-known PLCs within its data centre facility in Wythenshawe.

A record pipeline value also indicates a strong second half for the business, which is forecasting a record year following the strong growth it has achieved already.

As a result, the firm has expanded its team significantly, with the technical and sales teams set to double in the next 12 months.

Commercial director Matthew Edgley said: “This growth comes at a time of significant investment for TeleData, with over £1.8m being invested into resilience, energy efficiencies and cloud product development by early 2020.

“This will only serve to strengthen the TeleData proposition as a serious player in the thriving data centre hosting and cloud services sector.

"We expect H2 to be even stronger, as the full impact of our new active-active cloud platform, CloudActiv, is realised.“

Earlier this month, TeleData announced a six figure sum investment into the launch of its new cloud platform, CloudActiv.

The new platform provides sub-millisecond replication of data between two identical cloud platforms in the event of disaster recovery and is available to both new and existing customers.
