Telangana: RTC bus’ rear wheel comes off, none hurt

HYDERABAD: An RTC bus driver’s presence of mind averted a major accident after the rear wheel came off in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Wednesday. The bus with 42 passengers on board was on its way to Thorrur from Hyderabad when the left rear wheel came off near Katepalli village in Motakondur mandal.

As soon as the driver realised that something was amiss he carefully brought the bus to a halt as the rear portion dragged on the road.

All passengers were later sent to their destination in another bus.
