HYDERABAD: For the second day in a row, Telangana recorded 19 new cases of Covid-19 — 14 of which were reported from Hyderabad district.
The total count of cases recorded so far in the state has now touched 7,91,580. With no fresh deaths reported in Thursday, the death toll continued to remain at 4,111.
Other districts in Telangana that reported Covid-19 positive cases were Medchal Malkajgiri (1), Nagarkurnool (1) and Ranga Reddy (3).
While the rest of the 29 districts in Telangana reported zero cases.
A total of 17 patients were declared recovered, taking the total tally of recoveries so far to 7,87,234.
Currently there are 235 patients under treatment in the state.
Both the the recovery rate and the fatality rate and still at 99.45% and 0.51%, respectively. On Thursday, a total of 13,748 samples were tested even as the reports of 408 patients are still awaited.
