Telangana: People waiting to end TRS rule, says Union tourism minister G Kishan Reddy

HYDERABAD: Union tourism minister G Kishan Reddy said Telangana was the only state which did not have a secretariat in the country.

He alleged that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao got the secretariat building demolished as he did not want to go to secretariat and had been ruling from his camp office and farmhouse. He said Telangana people want a change and were waiting to end the family rule in next twoand-a-half years.

As his Jana Aashirwad Yatra entered the city on Saturday, Kishan Reddy addressed people at various locations like Uppal and Amberpet. He became emotional when the yatra entered Amberpet, the assembly constituency which he represented earlier. “Amberpet gave me everything in life. No matter where I am, I shall strive for the people of Amberpet until my last breath. Both party and people are two eyes for me,” the minister said.

Kishan Reddy said the Centre would complete 100 per cent vaccination in the country by December this year. So far, 57 crore people have been vaccinated and all the people would be covered in the next few months. He said the Centre was supplying free rice to 80 crore people in the country which would be continued till Deepavali this year.
