Telangana MLC's fake letter submitted to obtain VIP darshan at Tirumala

TIRUPATI: A case of a fake letter of Telangana MLC Kura Raghotham Reddy being submitted at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams additional executive officer's office at Tirumala to obtain VIP break darshan at the Tirumala temple was exposed by the TTD's vigilance and security wing and the Tirumala police on Tuesday.

In his complaint lodged with the Tirumala police, TTD's vigilance inspector B Sankar Babu stated that the additional EO's office which received two darshan recommendation letters of the Telangana MLC, alerted the vigilance and security wing after the signatures and the fonts in the two letters were found to be different and not identical.

When the vigilance and security department staff called up MLC Kura Raghotham Reddy, he clarified that he had issued only one recommendation letter and that he did not issue any recommendation letter which was submitted to the additional EO's office by one R Yadaiah, thereby establishing the fact that the second letter submitted was a fake one.

Following a complaint lodged by the TTD's vigilance and security wing, SI D Ramesh Babu registered a case under IPC section 420 (cheating) and 468 (forgery and cheating) against R Yadaiah, who managed to abscond.
