HYDERABAD: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) on Saturday announced that they would be releasing the schedule of the practical exams as well as theory exams in a 'day or two'.
TSBIE issued a statement making it clear that 'there is no confusion or proposal to cancel practical exams or to award marks without holding practical exams.' The practical exams were not conducted for IPE 2021 owing to the coronavirus pandemic. However, TSBIE admits that during the academic year 2020-21, physical classes could not be held due to Covid except for 45 days.
"Considering that with the approval of the competent authority, full marks were awarded in rpactical exams, last academic year," TSBIE's statement reads. Under the current AY 2021-22, officials note that online classes started from June and physical classes are being held from 1st September 2021 onwards. Only 14 days, colleges were closed in January due to Covid third wave. tnn
