HYDERABAD: As many as 459 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Telangana on Saturday. The number of active cases now stands at 5,180. Of the new cases, 323 cases were recorded in Hyderabad district alone while 40 are recorded in Ranga Reddy and 29 in Medchal- Malkajgiri.
The total number of cases so far in the state stands at 8,06,124. Total recoveries stand at 7,96,833 with 468 recoveries recorded on Sunday.The current positivity rate is 2.06 per cent, while the recovery rate slipped to 98.85. The death toll stands at 4,111, as no new death was recorded. On Sunday, a total of 22,193 samples were tested.
