HYDERABAD: Congress Legislature Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday launched his state-wide pada yatra named “People’s March” from Madhira assembly constituency in Khammam district with the objective of exposing the failures of the TRS government in Telangana and BJP government at the Centre.
He will be covering over 500 kilometres by foot in Madhira assembly constituency alone in 32 days and later extending it to other assembly segments across the state. Another main objective of pada yatra is to interact with people and prepare a list of the problems faced by them and tell them that the Congress, if voted to power, would attend to every issue concerning the people.
Bhatti will take a break to attend the budget session of the Telangana assembly and will resume his pada yatra after the assembly sessions.
Meanwhile, Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy has clarified that he was preoccupied with his scheduled meeting with Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari in Delhi due to which he could not attend the “Mana Vooru - Mana Poru” public meeting of the Congress held in Parigi on Saturday. tnn
