Telangana: Bandi Sanjay seeks NRIs’ push to dethrone TRS

HYDERABAD: BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay sought the support of NRIs and their families back home on Monday to dethrone the TRS in the upcoming elections. With the slogan ‘Ek Dhakka, Telangana Pakka”, he said that one push was all it would take for the state to be won by the BJP.

During an interaction with NRIs, he asked them to rally their family members behind the second phase of his padayatra, which Union minister Amit Shah is expected to attend on the first day.

Sanjay told them that Telangana has suffered a number of setbacks since the state’s formation. “There has been no job notification until now. There is total autocracy here, and there is a need for a change of guard,” he said.

Alleging CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is attempting to capitalise on Telangana sentiment again, Sanjay said that West Bengal-style politics is being played. “It is impossible to understand the problems of people sitting in comfortable rooms, so I embarked on a padayatra. This is the time to stand up for the state,” he said. Meanwhile, in the presence of Sanjay, several TDP leaders from Chevella joined the BJP.
