Tekashi69 signs new record deal 'worth $10 million' while still in prison

Tekashi 6ix9ine has signed a new record deal with his old label worth a reported $10 million while in prison, after testifying against former members of the notorious Nine Trey Bloods gang.

According to TMZthe controversial rapper – born Daniel Hernandez – signed with 10K Projects for a two-album deal, one in English and one in Spanish.

He now has to secure his release from prison. As part of his plea deal, Hernandez was looking at a January sentencing, but his representatives have reportedly moved the sentencing date to 18 December.

Hernandez previously faced 47 years in prison on an array of racketeering charges that stemmed from his involvement with the Nine Trey Bloods. He has been behind bars since his arrest in November 2018.

He will receive a reduced sentence after testifying against former fellow members Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack, who have since been found guilty on kidnapping and racketeering charges.
